Wright is fortunate that we are staffed by many of the most talented and qualified people in the industry. Whilst we can't list everyone, here are some of the most prominent who are all dedicated to giving you the best service possible.

James Walsh - Managing Director

James has led Wright for eleven years, during which time the company has grown three-fold, moved to purpose built new premises and has gained the pre-eminent position in performance based food distribution and seasoning systems.

A mechanical engineer (Portsmouth Polytechnic) with corporate finance additions (London Business School) and executive development (University of Western Ontario).

Roger Treacher - Sales Director

Roger comes from a solid Engineering background with a number of elated qualifications including an ONC and HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering gained at Reading. During the 1980’s Roger served as a Detail Draughts man in which one of his main achievements was designing the Falkland Islands airport before in 1988 becoming a Sales Executive at Pillar Engineering Supplies.

Having joined Wright Machinery in 1990 as a Sales Engineer, Roger progressed to Commercial Manager in 1992 before becoming Sales Manager in 1993.  Having secured numerous multi-million pound orders throughout the world, Roger has an excellent track record at providing customers what they want.

Mike Reed - Sales Director

Mike is a time served engineer and achieved an HNC in Mechanical Engineering. He has spent a significant amount of his working life within the food packaging or processing industries. His apprenticeship and initial employment was spent developing special purpose machines in the tobacco industry later moving to the meat industry with Bowyers where he gained qualifications in Industrial Engineering.

During his time at Huntings Mike undertook design and project management with turnkey packaging solutions for organisations such as ICI, Cadbury and Unilever.

Mike joined Wright in 1993 as a Sales Manager securing high-profile contracts around the world for snack food handling and packing systems. Lately he has used his ingenuity and this vast experience to take Wright products very successfully to new and different markets.

Mark Budd - Production Director

Mark is an apprentice served engineer who completed his apprenticeship having gained experience in machining, welding, fabrication and sheet-metal work.

Before coming to Wright Machinery, in 1985 Mark joined Fisons Scientific where he managed the machine shop, fabrication workshop and powder paint facility. Fisons manufactured scientific equipment for medical research. In 1990 Mark joined Wright Machinery as a production engineer and progressed to manufacturing director in 2000.

Tim Moulsdale - Engineering Director

Having gained a HND in Mechanical Engineering at Brighton Polytechnic in 1976, Tim almost immediately began his career at Wright Machinery as a Project Engineer.  By 1984 he had taken on the role of UK Sales Manager after which he has served in a variety of roles until in 1993 he became the Engineering Director.

Since then Tim has been instrumental in many key developments including updating our vertical form fill and sealer machines, introducing CAD systems to the company. Tim also pioneered the design of the Flowright range of vibratory conveyors.
